Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the financial success of our projects and elevating our management accounting processes.

You will produce accurate financial reports, manage budgeting, and oversee projects' financial performance.

You will also prepare detailed monthly management accounts, cashflow reports, and funder reports, ensuring that complex projects are accurately reported and providing financial insight through meetings with budget holders.

Develop financial forecasts, line manage two Assistant Management Accountants, and assist the Head of Finance with the annual audit and statutory reporting preparation.

To be considered as a Financial Planning Specialist, you will need:

  • Project financial experience including financial planning, forecasting, and modelling
  • Experience producing monthly management accounts and charity funder reports
  • Strong knowledge of working with finance systems
  • To be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CCAB) or working towards qualification

This is an exciting opportunity to work for Solace Women's Aid, a dedicated organisation committed to ending gender-based violence.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
