Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Financial Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial and administrative operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage double entry bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly payroll for employees, including processing salaries and benefits.
- Credit control and accounts receivable management to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Prepare and report monthly profit and loss statements (P&L) and balance sheets, as well as forecast annual budgets.
- Provide secretarial services to support our board of trustees, including taking minutes and maintaining company records.
- Offer administrative support to our CEO and trustees, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Manage supplier relationships and tender processes to secure the best deals.
- Oversee the HR department, processing reference requests, conducting DBS checks, and maintaining employee records.
- Coordinate public communications processes to promote our organization's mission and values.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent bookkeeping skills, experience with Sage accountancy tools, and AAT qualifications. Strong communication and organizational skills are also essential.
