Job Title: Head of Financial Performance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and improving financial governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Governance: Lead the development and implementation of financial governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement financial plans that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and external auditors.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions and drive financial performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of financial professionals to ensure effective delivery of financial services and support.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualifications: Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the NHS or a similar healthcare organization.
  • Skills: Strong financial management and leadership skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
