Internal Sales Engineer

Oliver Valves, a leading manufacturer of high pressure valves, is seeking a skilled Internal Sales Engineer to join their Sales Division at the Head Office in Knutsford.

As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to develop sales of a particular product range, providing sales support to the Field Sales Team and assisting with the preparation of quotes and product information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries verbally or in writing, evaluating each enquiry technically and commercially to offer the correct products.
  • Monitor the Quotation Process in conjunction with other departments, investigating costs with the purchasing department.
  • Promptly follow up on enquiries to maximize order intake, providing support for the External Sales force, Distributors, and Agents.
  • Assist with Customer Visits, both internal and external.

Requirements

  • Experience in selling technical products, competent in reading engineering drawings.
  • Managed a portfolio of international customers, with initiative and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, balancing a high workload while maintaining tight deadlines.
  • Take ownership of tasks and be responsible for your own work.
