About the Role:

We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity as a Decarbonisation Sales Specialist at GoNetZero™. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in sales, combined with a passion for driving change and creating a sustainable future.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Ownership: Take responsibility for achieving sales revenue targets for specific market(s), developing a strong sales pipeline, and driving sales closures.
  • Market Analysis: Analyse key industries based on their Scope 1, 2, & 3 carbon emissions and identify opportunities within these sectors for decarbonisation solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Identify and engage major corporate customers within the target industries, providing value-added advisory services related to decarbonisation and carbon credit solutions.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to foster recurring sales and ensure long-term success.
  • Contract and Pipeline Management: Secure both short-term (spot) and long-term (forward) contracts, and manage the development of sales pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales within the energy, commodities, or financial sectors, ideally targeting large multinational corporations.
  • Track Record: Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing key client relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with carbon credits (voluntary or compliance), decarbonisation, corporate sustainability, or trading carbon credits would be highly beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders both locally and internationally.
