Are you a seasoned professional looking to leverage your technical expertise in energy storage and geothermal systems to drive decarbonisation?

We're seeking an exceptional Decarbonisation Specialist to join our team at Deep Science Ventures. As a key member of our climate sector, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, physics, thermodynamics, or related fields, with experience in the design and analysis of high-power mechanical systems. A proven track record of leading commercial delivery of innovative technologies in energy storage or geothermal systems is essential.

You will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support technology development for accelerating industrial decarbonisation. This includes analysing technical constraints facing current mechanical energy storage systems and next-generation geothermal technologies, as well as helping with the design, development, and optimisation of candidate solutions.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You will work closely with our team of experts to ensure that our solutions meet real-world needs and are scalable.

If you begin as a specialist, there will be an opportunity to transition to a lead role within several months depending on early stage technology development progress.
