Child and Adolescent Psychologist

Peterborough City Council's Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to contribute to our dynamic and caring team. As a key member of our EPS, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering training programs for school staff, supporting schools in implementing the graduated approach, and contributing to our consultation service delivery model.
We offer a competitive salary range of £46,525-£56,540 per annum, plus up to 3 SPA points, taking into account the Soulbury Salary Scale A 3-8 structure. From April 2025, this post will be paid at Scale A points 5-10, plus up to 3 SPA points, reflecting the increasing demands of the role.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Able to develop and deliver training and supervision to school and setting staff, applying up-to-date theory and research.
- Effective communication skills, sound knowledge about current practice in Educational Psychology, and competence in delivering training to various audiences.
- Support schools to deliver the graduated approach for children, young people, and young adults with special educational needs.
