Estimated Salary: £90-100 per day, depending on experience


Type of Contract: Full-time temporary position with opportunity to go permanent


We are seeking a proactive and compassionate individual to join our team as a SEND Learning Support Assistant in the Stockport area. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive environment for students with Autism or challenging behaviors.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide one-to-one support to students with Autism or challenging behaviors
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and promoting student engagement
  • Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support

Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience working with children with Autism or challenging behaviors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
