We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Ian Williams Ltd. in a Painting Unit Supervisor role.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading property services contractor, delivering high-quality painting services to Housing Associations and Local Authorities in North London.

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and supervising the running of painting works on various sites in North London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage the workload, labour, and materials, in collaboration with the Contract Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and procedures on Health & Safety, including safe systems of work and PPE checks.
  • Communicate targets, costs, progress, and variances to client surveyors and internal surveyors and management on a regular basis.
  • Manage and maintain a high level of organization and IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems, Excel, and Outlook as required.

Requirements:

  • A Painting and Decorating trade background and qualified to NVQ level 2.
  • An SSSTS or SMSTS qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven foreperson or supervisory experience in a similar role (social housing) or within a related environment would be highly beneficial.
