About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our Painting Unit in North London. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our painting services to clients in the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Plan and supervise the running of painting works on various sites in North London, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the required standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, invest, and develop the productivity of our direct labour to deliver consistent results, and organize the workload, labour, and materials alongside the Contract Manager.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company policy, and procedures on Health & Safety, including safe systems of work, PPE checks, etc.
  • Communication: Communicate targets, costs, progress, and variances back to client surveyors and internal surveyors and management regularly, and carry out effective inductions to the workforce.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A Painting and Decorating trade background and qualified to NVQ level 2, with an SSSTS or SMSTS qualification advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience: Proven foreperson or supervisory experience in a similar role (social housing) or within a related environment, or tradespersons seeking to develop their career.
  • Skills: Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems, Excel, and Outlook as required.
