Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Coordinator to work in a mainstream secondary school in the Derby area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic development of the school's SEN policy and provision.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting the identification of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and coordinating provision for them. They will also be able to liaise with parents of children with SEN and carry out assessments of pupils with SEN.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SENCO to join our team and make a real difference to the lives of students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing SEN policy and provision.
  2. Identifying children with SEN and coordinating provision for them.
  3. Liaising with parents of children with SEN.
  4. Carrying out four-part cycle assessments of pupils with SEN.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £42,000 - £63,500 per year, depending on experience.
