About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Education Support Advisor to join our team at Learning Curve Group. As an Education Support Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with additional learning needs to achieve their full potential.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) and will be responsible for providing structured support using a range of effective interventions within a class and/or outdoor setting. They will also aid access to the full range of learning experiences and provide modified materials as required. In addition, they will advise and support tutors with making necessary adjustments for learners with learning support needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Post 16 Learners, particularly those with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP). They will also possess GCSE, 'O' Level or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English, as well as NVQ3 or equivalent as recognised by the National Occupational Standards for Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide structured support to learners with SEND
  • Aid access to learning experiences and provide modified materials
  • Advise and support tutors with learner adjustments
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of Learning Support Plans and contact logs
