Learning Support Specialist Role

Chesterfield-based school seeks an experienced Learning Support Specialist to join their team.

This permanent, full-time position involves working with children and young people with challenging behaviour, supporting their education and development.

The Learning Support Specialist will provide individualised support to students, utilising evidence-based behaviour management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.

Collaboration with teachers and external experts is essential to create tailored learning plans, monitor student progress, and address any concerns.

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess significant experience in working with children or young people with challenging behaviour, demonstrating strong behaviour management skills, and being able to form positive relationships with students.

A degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Counselling, or Education, is highly valued.

Compensation: £21,462 - £23,628 per annum.
