Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Care Worker. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment for young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing emotional support and guidance to young people during challenging times
- Fostering ambition and encouraging young people to achieve their goals and maximise their potential
- Supporting young people in their educational pursuits and helping them to develop their skills and interests
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing written reports for planning meetings and reviews
- Empowering young people to participate in decision-making about their lives and future
- Acting as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion
- Encouraging community engagement and participation in off-site activities
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
- Full UK driving license preferable
- No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people
- Attendance at a 2-week training program required
- Must have availability for sleep-in shifts
