Residential Property Legal Secretary

The Residential Property Legal Secretary will provide support to the Fee Earners within the Residential Property department at Holmes & Hills. This role is designed to enable the team to operate at optimum efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Fee Earners, including typing documents, letters, and bills.
- Administer electronic filing, including daily filing and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files.
- Prepare mail and enclosures for despatch.
- Support other secretaries, legal assistants, and paralegals as required.
- Provide guidance to junior and temporary secretaries.
- Attend clients and provide support in a professional and friendly manner.
- Collaborate with other secretaries across the team using technology.
- Undertake specific training and have a responsibility towards self-development.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all documentation and information.
- Update electronic checklists within the case management system.
Requirements:
- Trained in secretarial practice.
- Fast and accurate word-processing and audio-typing skills.
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in an alternative professional office.
