Wellbeing and Social Engagement Assistant

As a Wellbeing and Social Engagement Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of our residents.
About the Role- Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
- Collaborate with care staff, residents, and external partners to establish links with the local community, enhancing access to resources and promoting intergenerational activity.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate records of resident participation, progress, and feedback to inform future activity planning.
- A caring and empathetic approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our residents.
- Demonstrate understanding of the role interaction plays in the general well-being of individuals, with a commitment to delivering high-quality activities and social events.
- Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing setting, preferably with a dementia specialism.
- An estimated salary of £20,000 - £23,000 per annum, depending on experience.
