Educational Assistant for Emotional Wellbeing

We are seeking an Educational Assistant for Emotional Wellbeing to join our dedicated team at Academics Ltd. This challenging yet rewarding role involves supporting students with social, emotional and mental health challenges.
You will work closely with experienced professionals to aid students in regulating their emotions and coping with mental challenges. A recent graduate in Psychology or Criminology is essential, and the ideal candidate will be committed to gaining direct experience in the mental health field.
This long-term temporary position offers a salary range of £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, reflecting the demands of the role and the Bristol location. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with on-site Psychologists and Therapists to optimize each child's education.
Your responsibilities will include providing support to students throughout the school day, aiding their academic learning and interpersonal skills. You will also follow therapeutic practices to help each child regulate their emotions and cope with mental challenges. Your assistance will further involve liaising with the class teacher to ensure each child receives optimal education.
