Financial Operations Assistant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the accounts team of a regional law firm based in the Southwest. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's financial operations, working in a supportive environment where you can thrive and hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake daily banking functions, including daily reconciliations.
- Prepare cheques and assist with bill processing.
- Support internal stakeholders with ledger queries.
- Assist with the annual Solicitors Accounts rules audit.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts packs.
- Contribute to the annual audit.
- Manage petty cash and credit cards.
- Oversee the creditors ledger.
- Provide ad hoc reporting as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience working within accounts or as a Finance assistant is essential.
- AAT level 3 or 4.
- Thrive in a busy work environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Proficient in using XERO.
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workload.
