Financial Operations Assistant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the accounts team of a regional law firm based in the Southwest The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's financial operations, working in a supportive environment where you can thrive and hit the ground running
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Financial Officer, taking responsibility and ownership of the day-to-day maintenance of either the office account or client account.
- Working within the accounts team who describe themselves as friendly, professional, and relaxed.
- Supporting the organisation's financial operations, including financial data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Providing administrative support to the Financial Officer, including preparing financial reports, statements, and other documents.
Requirements:
- Experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a law firm or similar industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Proficient in financial software and systems, including Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
