- Financial Transaction Processing: Post financial transactions in the general ledger and conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
- Budget Preparation: Assist with the preparation and administration of the budget, financial forecasts, and statements.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support during the budget preparation process and participate in financial audits.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer, or similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Discretion: High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
- Qualifications: AAT Level 3 or 4, Semi Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA, or qualified by experience.
- Software Experience: Experience of using Leap (preferred).
