We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic bar and restaurant assistant to join our young team at the Millbrook Inn. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, eager to learn and who would easily fit into our hardworking brigade.

Nestled between land and sea, at the top of a tranquill tidal creek on the Salcombe estuary, the Millbrook Inn is a hidden haven for those who enjoy good food, great wine and a pint of local ale.

Since the pub has been in the hands of the current owners in Spring 2021, they have been investing in the building itself upgrading the pub's back of house as well as focusing on sourcing main ingredients from sustainable suppliers and producing their own meat and vegetables. We take great pride in the quality of our food. As part of the front of house team you'll be an important part of every meal we serve.

While experience is encouraged we are mainly looking for someone who has a passion for food, customer service and is looking to progress within their careers. We can provide all aspects of training and there are many opportunities for career development.

Working as part of the team on the floor and bar, your duty will include:
Bar and cellar management

Strong knowledge of the menu & preparation of dishes

Providing excellence in service to the guests, dealing with complaints & issues & providing answers to all menu questions

Building a rapport with regular guests

Taking on administrative tasks

Supporting the Management Team with staff inductions & training

To be a respectful & professional presence

Maintaining the standards set for service

Supporting other staff members and enabling the team to succeed.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
