About the Position:
We are currently recruiting for a Residential Care Professional to join our team at Durham County Council. As a key member of our staff team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering person-centred care plans that promote independence and well-being
- Collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, as required
- Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or a related field (desirable)
- Relevant experience working with children and young people with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and sleep-ins
