Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Administration Specialist to join our team at Interactive Investor. As a key member of our pensions administration department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Sipp and pension products.

About the Role:

This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing key task validation, authorisation, and quality assurance, as well as administering and overseeing key controls for all our Sipp operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform live task validation and authorisation, as well as retrospective quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer or maintain oversight of key departmental controls and reflect as necessary to ensure effective risk management.
  • Complete department risk management documentation, such as Risk Events and Regulatory Breaches, and track delivery of subsequent actions.
  • Identify areas of risk/exposure within the department and suggest ways in which such risks could be mitigated.
  • Maintain the first line of compliance defence by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures that meet HMRC and FCA requirements.

  • Responsible for ensuring all CASS related activities and processes are completed daily to safeguard client assets.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have advanced technical expertise in pensions administration, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Pension Regulations, and FCA rules and requirements.

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a generous pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and access to training and development opportunities.
