Pensions Administration Specialist

Established as a leading pensions administration specialist, you will form part of our dynamic projects team servicing both internal and external clients. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with senior associates to deliver high-quality services, including the production of pension increases, benefit statements, and administration reports.

The Role

  • In conjunction with the Team Leader, ensure all delivery promises and performance standards are met.
  • Elevate problems and cases to Team Leader.
  • Provide technical guidance on non-standard cases and serve as a point of reference for junior associates.
  • Identify process improvements and propose recommendations to Team Leader.
  • Verify the basis of work performed by junior associates and provide coaching on errors made.
  • Mentor junior associates through regular feedback sessions.
  • Recognize associate training needs and suggest solutions to Team Leader.
  • Detect performance issues and raise them with Team Leader.
  • Monitor own projects and those of junior associates using the Team Planner to ensure target dates are achieved.
  • Take ownership of homepage and precedent document development.
  • Design test packs for automation, test, and sign off calculations for DB and DC members.
  • Contribute to due diligence exercises, analyzing data quality, identifying data issues, and proposing solutions.
  • Manage data cleaning requirements.
  • Assist in large mailing projects to members.
  • Scope costs for projects outside of business as usual and monitor spend versus budget.
  • Complaint Management.
  • Be the primary contact for an agreed list of projects and maintain and develop client relationships.
