Job Role

We are seeking a dedicated Democratic Services Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the council operates smoothly and effectively, delivering exceptional service to elected members and the public.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to officers and members, including the publication of reports and agendas. They will also be expected to communicate effectively at all levels, be customer-focused and responsive to the needs of others, and be well-organized and able to manage their time effectively.

Benefits

We offer a range of benefits and perks, including 26 days paid annual leave (pro rata if you are working part time) plus bank holidays, which increases to 29 days after five years' service and 32 days following 10 years' continuous service.
