Job Title: SEN School Transport Coordinator

About the Role

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking an experienced SEN School Transport Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our disability services team, you will be responsible for coordinating safe and dignified transportation services for vulnerable individuals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the safe conveyance of service users to/from SEN schools, Adult and Learning Disability Day Services, and other activities.
  • Work closely with our team of drivers to ensure accurate care during transportation, including assistance with boarding and aliting from the vehicle.
Key Requirements:
  • A mature and disciplined approach to duties, maintaining high standards of customer care, accuracy, safety, and effectiveness.
  • Hold a full driving license with D, D1, or D1 101 categories (for certain roles).
  • Ability to handle challenging situations and work comfortably around people with learning and physical disabilities.
Salary:

The salary for this role is £22,000 - £27,000 per annum, plus benefits.
