Job Description:

A reputable primary school in Witney is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Primary School Educator to join its team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to make a meaningful impact on students' academic, social, and personal growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, focusing on Mathematics and Literacy, tailored to cater to diverse learners.
  • Provide comprehensive support and challenges to students at various ability levels, adapting techniques to help those requiring extra assistance and those who exceed grade-level expectations.
  • Collaborate with SENCOs to implement differentiated instruction, utilizing sensory tools, auditory/visual aids, and other strategies to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and specific learning requirements.
  • Integrate physical activities and sports into the curriculum, using team-building exercises and individual goal-setting to enrich students' educational experiences.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably in Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, emphasizing the development of students' social and emotional skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the KS1/KS2 curriculum, with a particular focus on Maths and English.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a love of learning and reading in students, with a focus on cultivating a classroom culture that encourages literacy and engagement with books.
  • Ability to incorporate creative and physical activities into lessons, ensuring that learning experiences are engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful.
