About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Officer to join our team at West Oxfordshire District Council. As a key member of our planning department, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our district through the development and implementation of planning policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct research and analysis to inform planning decisions, including site assessments and policy reviews
  2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and other council departments
  3. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and committee meetings, using data and evidence to support planning recommendations

Estimated Salary Range: Based on location and industry standards, we estimate that this role is equivalent to a salary range of £38,850 - £41,950 per annum.
