We are seeking a Council Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Association Of Democratic Services Officers. This role involves providing administrative support to our Council, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative assistance to officers and members, responding to queries and requests.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and agendas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the development of policies and procedures, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals, promoting effective teamwork.
- Proven experience in administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work at all levels.
- Organized and efficient, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to supporting local governance and public service.
- Salary: £29,675 per annum (plus pay award).
- Pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and other employee benefits.
- 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days after five years' service.
