Landscaping Contracts Manager

Our client is a leading UK-based landscaping and civil engineering specialist, renowned for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering multi-disciplinary commercial landscape projects on time, to specification, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the successful completion of contracts
- Maintain gross margins on contracts
- Produce and monitor accurate cost control
- Manage sub-contractors and direct labour
- Supervise a team of Labourers (approximately 20, numbers may vary depending on contract)
- Procure and manage resources (plant, equipment, and materials)
- Deliver contracts in line with our Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
- Conduct Safety, Quality, and Environmental audits
- Develop and manage Construction Phase Plans
- Review and produce RAMS
- Manage programmes of work
- Maintain site records
- Communicate effectively with clients and project teams
- Proactively identify and address potential problems
- Present monthly progress reports
- Submit monthly valuations
- Record and manage AIs, pricing variations, and account management
- Compile and record RFIs and RVIs
- Conduct project reviews at the end of each project
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven track record in the construction/landscaping industry, with commercial acumen and experience managing site managers and subcontractors
- Full UK Driver's License
- Project Management qualification (desirable)
- SMSTS (desirable)
