Strategic Partnership Director

About the Role:
Farm Credit Canada is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships that align with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships that contribute to our overall success.
- Develop a conceptual framework for partnership lifecycle management, overseeing the partnership lifecycle from initial contact and negotiation to implementation and ongoing management.
- Implement a strategy to explore partnership opportunities that meet the objectives of our strategic goals, working closely with executive leadership to align partnership strategies with business objectives.
- Oversee, monitor, and recommend new opportunities/enhancements based on historical performance and future growth opportunities.
- Provide strategic guidance, direction, and coaching for the team, building relationships with industry partners and internal delivery teams.
Requirements:
- Confident communicator with strong analytical skills, able to connect and build business relationships.
- Strategic thinker who can translate observations into detailed requirements and partnership contracts.
- Proven leader committed to helping others succeed, with a collaborative relationship-builder and team player mindset.
- Critical thinker with sound judgment and solid decision-making abilities, organized multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced workplace.
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, technology, finance, business administration, or commerce, with at least 10 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience in the financial services industry, knowledge of strategic planning and portfolio management, and demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Background in agriculture or food, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
