About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our team at Network - Career Consultants, a creative agency based in Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily relationship with suppliers and vendors, evaluating supplier offers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

You will work closely with directors to review and manage business systems and processes, implement project governance, and provide administrative support across all projects.

Additionally, you will be responsible for bookkeeping tasks, including recording expenses, sales, invoices, and payments accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor/supplier management: comparing and evaluating supplier offers, negotiating contracts, placing and tracking orders, and reviewing product quality
  • Business admin: reviewing and managing business systems and processes, implementing project governance, and providing administrative support
  • Bookkeeping: recording transactions, including expenses, sales, invoices, and payments

Requirements:

  • Self-starting individual with excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Background in business administration within a smaller, privately owned creative industry business, preferably with some bookkeeping experience

Expected Salary: This role is expected to earn an annual salary of £32,500, dependent on experience.
