About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Prince Philip Barracks, MOD Lyneham. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food services to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and present delicious, high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food service.
  • Menu Development: Work with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts that meet the needs of our clients and customers.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all food and supplies are ordered and stored efficiently.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen, including compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a similar environment.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Qualifications: Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications, such as HACCP and Food Safety.
