About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Exclusive Collection. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, preparation, and service of all food within the hotel. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the smooth running of kitchen operations, including stock control and procedures.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu writing, planning, and assessing current industry trends and initiatives.
  • Ensure the standard of food and service are executed to the highest level at all times.
  • Run the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Manage food wastage and maintain the highest levels of food hygiene and health and safety.
Requirements
  • A true passion for food and a strong, high-volume kitchen background from within the hotel, venue, or restaurant sector.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, listening, and writing.
  • Commercially astute and financially aware.
  • Highly organized and a proven record as a strong team leader.
