SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Richmond

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Contract Type: One-year contract, term-time only

Salary: £475 to £550 per week

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Psychology Graduate to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a school setting. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with children who have Autism, Global Delay, and Speech & Language difficulties.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to SEN children
  • Work with children presenting with Autism, Global Delay, and Speech & Language difficulties
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans
  • Support children in their daily activities, including academic and social development
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting children with SEN

Requirements:

  • Psychology Graduate with a 1st Class Degree from a Top UK University
  • Experience working with vulnerable children with complex needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
