Mental Health and Well-being Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Mental Health and Well-being Support Worker to join our team in a Primary aged section of a School in Bourne End, High Wycombe.

The successful applicant will work closely with students who require 1:1 support to assist with settling them into the school, supporting their learning, as well as socially and emotionally.

This is a full-time role, starting ASAP or in September if needed. You will get to attend a trial day once you have passed all compliance and safeguarding checks to ensure this is the right role for you.

Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to students
  • Assisting students with their learning and daily tasks
  • Working closely with teachers and other staff members to provide a comprehensive support system
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers
  • Being proactive in identifying and addressing any mental health concerns
