Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Manager to join our team at BOC. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business growth and success.

About the Role: As a Hybrid HR Professional, you will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to deliver HR strategies and people plans that align with business objectives. You will also be responsible for managing the FTE planning process, promoting diversity and inclusion, and leading organization design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that drive business growth and success
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver HR strategies and people plans
  • Manage the FTE planning process
  • Promote diversity and inclusion
  • Lead organization design initiatives
  • Coach leaders and drive the ongoing development of people capability
  • Support business leaders to prepare for and lead pay negotiations, recognition processes, and the ER agenda
  • Line manage a small team of HR Advisors

Requirements:

  • Significant HR experience in a similar sized organization
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to apply analytics in a commercial context
  • Negotiation and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using HR management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • CIPD qualification or relevant degree
