School Teaching Position - SEND Expert Required

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team at Academics Ltd.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teacher who can start immediately and teach across all year groups, as this is an all-through school.

The school provides a supportive environment for children with EHCPs, addressing their diverse needs.

Children attending this school may have SLD, MLD, speech and language difficulties, or ASD.

Some students may also have additional needs, including visual or hearing impairments, accompanied by behavioral challenges.

The school tailors its curriculum to extend the National Curriculum, promoting a seamless progression within the framework.

The successful candidate will:

  • hold QTS and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • possess in-depth subject knowledge covering EYFS to KS2.
  • have experience teaching the ASDAN curriculum, although not essential.
  • create a secure and engaging learning environment.
  • teach at a good to outstanding consistent level.
  • effectively manage classroom behavior.
  • be adaptable to the school's working routine and respond to changing situations.
  • utilize resources efficiently to enhance children's attainment levels.
  • plan and think strategically.
  • remain patient and composed in stressful situations.

This role offers regular day-to-day work without the burden of taking work home, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking a stable and fulfilling teaching position.

To ensure a smooth transition, we require all Teachers to undergo a fully enhanced DBS check, provide minimum two references, and participate in a face-to-face interview.

Estimated Salary: £48,000 per annum
