Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

School Type: Special Educational Needs School (Primary/Secondary)

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Hours of Work: 8:45am - 3:45pm, Permanent, Temporary, or Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our specialist school in Birmingham, supporting students with complex Autism. You will work with learners who may exhibit challenging behaviour, be non-verbal, and require significant support with self-regulation. Your ability to create a structured, nurturing environment will help unlock each child's potential and enable them to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teach students with complex Autism and additional needs, using your expertise to develop effective strategies for behaviour management and support.
  2. Create a tailored learning environment that caters to the individual needs of each student, promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
  3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive education plans, ensuring every student achieves their full potential.
