About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate HLTA to lead our SEND hub. As the HLTA leading the SEND hub, you will work alongside a team of Teaching Assistants (TAs) to provide tailored support to students with a variety of SEND needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of Teaching Assistants within the SEND hub.
  2. Provide bespoke, high-quality support to children with SEND, ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress.
  3. Support the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
  4. Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to parents and the senior leadership team.
  5. Create a positive, nurturing environment that supports both the academic and emotional needs of SEND students.
  6. Assist with behaviour management and promote social inclusion.

Requirements:

  • A Level 4 qualification as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent.
  • Significant experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within a school setting.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate a team of Teaching Assistants.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable)
