Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in North Birmingham. This role will involve working closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver individualized support to children with special educational needs.

About the Role:
  • This is a 4.5 days per week position starting January 2025 - July 2025
  • The ideal candidate will have a Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification and experience working with children who have suspected ASD
What We Offer:
  1. A competitive salary of £18,500 - £20,000 per year, depending on experience
  2. Holiday pay and guidance through your assignments

  4. A 250 recommend a friend scheme once someone you recommended has worked 20 days
Key Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized plans for children with SEND
  • To provide one-to-one support to children with phonics difficulties
  • To contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
