Role Summary

PK Education is seeking a dedicated Primary SEND Support Specialist to join our team at a primary resource provision in Nuneaton, UK. This role involves providing supportive care and guidance to young learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).


About the Role

As a Primary SEND Support Specialist, you will work closely with teaching staff, SEND coordinators, and external professionals to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Your duties will include providing one-on-one and small group support, collaborating with teaching staff to develop personalized learning plans, and implementing sensory integration techniques and communication strategies.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing collaborative support to teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the academic, social, and emotional development of children with SEND.
  2. Implementing behaviour management techniques and communication strategies to support children with diverse needs.
  3. Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to supporting children with SEND.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £90-£100 per day, dependent on experience, along with access to resources, training, and support networks to enhance your skills and expertise in supporting children with SEND.
