About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Manager to join our team at British Land.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a proven track record in property management to take on a senior role and make a significant impact on our business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards and that our tenants are satisfied with their experience.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a bonus scheme, pension scheme, and 25 days' annual leave.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, including leasing, maintenance, and capital projects;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with tenants and other stakeholders;
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as rent collection, tenant satisfaction, and building occupancy rates;
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including development, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and delivery of business objectives;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety, environmental, and accessibility requirements;
  • Manage budgets and forecast financial performance;
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as property management, business administration, or a related discipline;
  • Proven experience in property management, ideally in a similar role or industry;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, colleagues, and other stakeholders;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines;
  • Familiarity with property management software and systems;
  • Certifications in property management, such as RICS or IoD, would be advantageous;
