Dermatology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Dermatologist to join our rapidly growing dermatology team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be based either in Taunton at Musgrove Park Hospital or Yeovil District Hospital, with opportunities to develop a sub-specialty interest and establish academic links with neighboring university hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a broad spectrum of outpatient activity, including general adult and pediatric dermatology, skin cancer services, and phototherapies.
- Work closely with the Nurse Specialist team to provide and monitor systemic therapies, including biological therapies and isotretinoin.
- Participate in the monthly clinical governance meetings and contribute to the development of the clinical service.
- Undertake clinical duties and minor surgery, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
- MRCP or completed dermatology training with CCT.
- 4 years as a Dermatology trainee.
- Strong commitment to developing the clinical service.
