Dermatology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist to join our rapidly growing dermatology team. As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing sub-specialty interests, and contributing to the development of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outpatient and inpatient care for patients with skin conditions, including general adult and paediatric dermatology, and skin cancer services.
- Develop and maintain a sub-specialty interest in dermatology, with opportunities for academic links to neighbouring university hospitals.
- Work closely with the Nurse Specialist team to provide and monitor systemic therapies, including biological therapies and isotretinoin, and skin cancer diagnosis, support, and follow-up.
- Participate in the monthly clinical governance meetings held at Musgrove Park Hospital for the whole dermatology team.
- Contribute to the development of the department, including the development of new services and the improvement of existing ones.
