Dermatology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Dermatologist to join our rapidly growing dermatology team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing clinical services, and contributing to the growth and development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with a range of skin conditions, including general adult and pediatric dermatology, skin cancer, and other related conditions.
- Develop and implement clinical services to improve patient outcomes and meet the needs of our community.
- Work closely with our Nurse Specialist team to provide systemic therapies, including biological therapies and isotretinoin, and skin cancer diagnosis, support, and follow-up.
- Participate in the monthly clinical governance meetings to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Contribute to the development of our department, including research, education, and quality improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a Consultant Dermatologist with the following qualifications and experience:
- MRCP or completed dermatology training with CCT.
- 4 years as a Dermatology trainee.
- Strong commitment to developing the clinical service.
Desirable qualifications include GCP training, Master's degree, and research training.
