Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis in Cardiff. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive wellbeing service, offering therapeutic interventions and advising management on how wellbeing challenges affect performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a stepped care framework as part of our Counselling Health and Wellbeing Service.
  • Handle complex student wellbeing issues, ensuring timely support is provided.
  • Implement a proactive wellbeing service that adapts to the needs of our community.
  • Run face-to-face and online workshops focused on promoting student wellbeing.
Requirements
  1. A degree or PG Diploma in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or Therapeutic Counselling.
  2. Experience in assessing and treating common wellbeing issues effectively.
  3. Ability to deliver engaging presentations on various wellbeing topics.
  4. Significant experience as an IAPT/wellbeing practitioner or counsellor within an organisational setting.

The estimated salary for this position is £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience.
