About the Opportunity:
CV-Library is seeking a dedicated Youth Practitioner to join our dynamic national programme focused on enhancing young person well-being and access to food services. The role involves conducting regular consultations with children and young people to identify their needs and developing programmes accordingly.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with children and young people to design and deliver tailored services that cater to their requirements.
2. Deliver engaging sessions on topics such as anxiety, bullying, friendships, racism, street safety, and grooming, promoting creativity and fun while ensuring educational value.
3. Lead food, nutrition, and cooking groups for young people, including meal planning, healthy eating discussions, and teaching basic living skills.

Essential Requirements:
1. Proven experience working with children and young people (10-18 years old).
2. Ability to engage and listen to children to shape the service to fit their needs.
3. Background in Youth Work, Children and Family services, Residential Services, or linked Services preferred.
4. Must be able to drive, have access to a car, and hold a current enhanced DBS.

Working Conditions:
This position is based in Cardiff, South Wales, with a salary range of £16 - 19 per hour + VAT (negotiable), offering 15 hours/week (Mondays and Tuesdays, 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM) and potential for extension.
