Job Title: Children and Young People Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children and Young People Care Specialist to join our team at an undisclosed company in the Cardiff region.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting children aged 6-18 with emotional behaviour disorder and/or complex needs in one of 7 active services in Cardiff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with emotional and behavioural challenges
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Ensuring an inclusive and fair environment for children and young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Managing challenging behaviour and adhering to personal care plans

Requirements:

  • Child-centred approach to care
  • Positive attitude towards working with children and young people
  • Previous experience in children's social care or a related field
  • Full UK driver's license

What We Offer:

  • 37 hours per week full-time role
  • 30% enhancement on hourly rate after 8pm on weekdays
  • 50% enhancement on hourly rate on weekends
  • Sleep in allowance
