About the Service

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Specialist to join our team at Ty Storrie, a short break home providing accommodation for young people with additional learning needs. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes, build meaningful relationships, and have fun while developing essential life skills.

What We Offer

A competitive annual salary of approximately £27,000 per annum, plus generous enhancements for evening, weekend, and bank holiday working. You will also receive an additional salary enhancement of 15% after 5 pm weekdays, 25% on weekends, and £50 per sleep-in duty.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing direct care and support to young people in our short break home, enabling them to achieve their individualized childcare plans. Every day will bring new challenges, and we need staff members with a proactive approach, willing to go above and beyond to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
